Our line of "Quilt Sew Easy" kits come with instructions and pre-cut strips so all you need to do is sub-cut and you are ready to sew! This not only saves on prep time, but also minimizes costly miscuts, and is a great way to start if you are new to quilting. Quick and Easy~ (Backing fabrics and batting are available to purchase separately. Backing size included = 2 yards X WOF plus a 9" strip x 2 yards. Batting is 80/20 cotton/polyester).
This quilt kit includes fabrics from "A Trip to the Farm" by Studio e Fabrics. This delightful collection features many of the farm animals you'd find on a farm, including sheep, pigs, ducks, cows, and the family dog! Optional backing fabrics include coordinating prints from this same line, or a flannel by Oasis Fabrics, (which we used on our quilt), featuring farm animals riding tractors and backhoe's--how fun!
PRE-CUT KIT INCLUDES:
(1) Pattern
(4) 1 1/2" x WOF pre-cut strips (inner borders)
(9) 5 1/4" x WOF pre-cut strips (pieced border)
(2) 3 1/2" x 45" LOF pre-cut strips (inside border)
(2) 2 1/4" x WOF strips (inside border)
(2) 3 1/2" x 54 1/2" LOF pre-cut strips (outer borders)
(2) 3 1/2" x WOF pre-cut strips (outer borders)
(6) 2 1/2"x WOF pre-cut strips (binding)
The inner and outer boards are cut directional and to length, so no additional joins are required except for the binding.
Alternatively, if prefer to cut all your own fabric, we have two other Kit options available.
These kits include instructions and the necessary yardage needed to complete the quilt top and binding only. (Backing and batting can be purchased separately).
KIT OPTION #2a: Inner and outer borders will require joins and will not be directional.
