Our "Quilt Sew Easy" basic kit comes with instructions and pre-cut fabrics, so all you have to do is sub-cut and sew; making your prep time very minimal and minimizing mis-cuts...perfect for a quick weekend project.
We have added two optional choices for the backing:
1. 100% cotton Flannel. This is 44/45" wide. We supply (1) 1 1/2 yards x WOF cut and (1) 1 1/2 yards x 1/2 WOF. The backing will need to be pieced. The final size = approx. 54" x 54".
2. 100% polyester Fireside Fleece. This is 60" wide therefore no piecing is required. It is super soft and a fan favorite in Canada for baby backings! This will be cut to 1 1/2 yards.
And lastly, to make this a complete kit, with no need to buy any other fabrics to complete this quilt, we have included the option to add Heirloom 80/20 cotton batting (crib size).
We'll throw in a spool of coordinating thread if you purchase all three options. :-)
