The quilt starts with a panel in the center. The inner border is constructed making 6 1/2" square diamond blocks as well as 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" flying geese blocks. The corner blocks are a 4 1/2" 1 Drop Diamond block. Various inner and outer border of various widths make up the remainder of the quilt. The side outer borders are cut directional, to the LOF.
You have Three Options to choose from:
Kit 1: Instructions and Fabric to complete top & Binding only. (Backing and Batting not included).
Kit 2: Kit 1 plus various backing options including 100% cotton woven, 100% cotton flannel, and 100% polyester Fireside fleece. The cotton woven and cotton flannel backing will come in 2 cuts that will need to be joined. The finished size will be approx. 54" x 66".
The fireside fleece is 60" wide therefore no piecing is needed. The finished size will be 54" x 60". (This fabric is super soft and makes a great backing for baby quilts).
Kit 3: Complete Kit Package. It includes all the fabrics necessary to complete a quilt including 100% batting by Pellon. (cut to size)
