Our "Quilt Sew Easy" basic kit comes with instructions and pre-cut fabrics, so all you have to do is sub-cut and sew; making your prep time very minimal and minimizing mis-cuts...perfect for a quick weekend project.
We have included optional choices for the backing:
1. Animals Tossed on Yellow. This is 100% cotton; 43/44" wide.
2. Nature's Leaves Flannelette. This fabric is 100% cotton and 42" wide.
3. White double-sided Flannel. This fabric is 100% cotton, 44/45" wide, and a heavier weight flannel. It is perfect for a neutral color backing.
(All of the above backings will be cut to (1) 1 1/2 yards x WOF cut and (1) 1 1/2 yards x 1/2 WOF. The backing will need to be pieced. The final size = approx. 54" x 63").
4. Butter Yellow 100% Fireside Fleece. This fleece is super soft and a Canadian favorite! The fabric is 60" wide therefore there is no need to piece the backing. Fabric is cut to 1 1/3 yards.
And lastly, to make this a complete kit, with no need to buy any other fabrics to complete this quilt, we have included the option to add Heirloom 80/20 cotton batting (crib size).
