Safari Stargazing Flannel

This double napped flannel by the RBD Designers for Riley Blake Designs is great for apparel, blankets, quilts and quilt backs. This print features animals in a nighttime sky.

The patchwork fabric has been marketed as a cheater panel, features Mommy and baby animal pairs including panda's, giraffe's, elephants, tigers, and Koala bear. And last but not least, a turtle.  This could easily be made into a simple blanket by adding a matching backing fabric, finishing the edges with a serger or satin binding or simply sewing along the selvages and fraying the edges, similar to a rag quilt.
